Model K series is the split-core type of CT. Mainly used for cable or bus-bar applications, and for current measuring and monitoring. The split core design allows it to be opened, installed and closed without disconnecting the circuit to which it's attached. Note: Please keep in mind that open-circuited secondary winding is strictly forbidden during CT installation, to avoid damage to the CT as well as personal injuries and accidents.
